Bendi pakora


½ Kg bendi / okra
3 tablespoons rice flour
4 tablespoons Besan
salt to taste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Oil to deep fry


  1. Clean the okra with a wet cloth and cut them vertically.
  2. Add besan, rice flour, salt, chilli powder to the bendi and mix well.
  3. Add lemon juice and sprinkle a bit of water to it and mix well so that all the pieces are well coated.
  4. Heat oil for deep fry.  Fry the bendi on medium to high flame till they are well fried and crispy.
  5. Serve it hot.
