Bellam Atlu

Ingredients :

1 cup wheat flour

2 tablespoons of rice flour

1/3 cup jaggery /sugar

a pinch of salt

1 1/4th cup water

Ghee

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and dissolve jaggery in water.
  2. Add salt, rice flour and wheat flour to the jaggery water and mix without any lumps. Let this settle for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Heat the dosa pan and grease it with ghee.
  4. When the pan is hot enough spread the dosa batter on the pan and cook both sides.
  5. Serve it hot or cold.
